- Subscription Data: Payment and billing information related to your Hanna Pro or Hanna ProMax subscription, processed through our secure payment provider (Stripe).
4. How We Use Your Personal Data
We only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- To provide the Hanna service: Processing your natural language requests, generating formulas, creating spreadsheets, and delivering AI-powered financial intelligence within Excel.
- To manage your account and subscription: Including authentication, billing, and access control for Hanna Pro and ProMax features.

5. AI Processing & Your Spreadsheet Data
When you use Hanna within Excel:
- Your spreadsheet data is sent to our AI processing servers only when you actively interact with Hanna (e.g., sending a chat message or clicking AI Formula).
- Spreadsheet data is processed in real-time to generate responses and is not retained after your session ends.
- We do not use your individual spreadsheet data to train our AI models.
- All data transmission between the Excel add-in and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS encryption.
6. Data Security
We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. These measures include:
- End-to-end encryption for all data in transit.
- Encryption at rest for all stored personal data.

8. Third-Party Services
Hanna uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Stripe: For secure payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information.
- Microsoft Office Platform: Hanna operates as a Microsoft Excel add-in. Microsoft's privacy policy governs the Excel platform itself.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
